SAPLING VEGAN’S POP-UP!

svpop1

Hello, darlings!  Today is filled with memories of a warm, sunny day in Los Angeles.  Moe and I took a trip up to Sapling Vegan‘s Pop Shop + Lock It, benefiting the Farm Sanctuary.  I’m super keen on donating to causes and supporting small businesses.  Plus, I got to see some friends too!  Attending was a no-brainer.

I am a huge fan of Bare Naked Botanicals!  Kimberly Peterson was an esthetician for ten years.  Her belief in whole food skincare resulted in this beautiful, organic line.  The Peachy Me Keen lotion is my current fave.

Todo Verde makes delicious superfood beverages and aqua frescas, 86 the dairy and processed sugar.  I got this Naranjada Agua Fresca, with a small ingredient list of orange, orange blossom water, chia, maple syrup and water.  It’s the cat’s meow!

Chocoveda was showcasing sample of some of there vegan chocolate truffles.  They are SO SMOOTHE and decadent.  We went home with The Goddess Box: wild strawberry, gorgeous guava, and pink grapefruit.  Some chocolates contain honey, so make sure to check the ingredients.

It wouldn’t be a So Cal event without Jacky and BEETxBEET!  My tee collection is being taken over by this company and that’s all dandy with me.  I’m a big fan…figuratively speaking, of course!

Indie Jams LA, owned by Meredith Lockwood, has some playful flavors!  Each jam is inspired by the LA music scene + has it’s own playlist on their website.  How fun, right?!  Moe picked up COUNTRY-peaches and I chose POP-strawberry.  Both are pretty stellar!

Victoria Mikell Pastries baked up some tasty green velvet cupcakes, colored and packed with kale juice.  I’m sure I can meet my daily quota for kale intake JUST by eating these babies.  Seriously, a baker’s dozen poor favor.  ^_^

Cowhugger is a sweet shop, carrying vegan apparel, bags, accessories and more.  It was so nice to finally meet the couple behind this mobile and online store!  I bought a cute necklace by Christy Robinson (it’s in my March and April Favorites). LOVE IT!

When the Plant Food for People truck shows up at the doorstep, it’s a requirement to indulge in their amazingness.  That’s a fact, kiddos!

We had such a ball!  I’m hoping Stephanie will hold another event.  I was digging the takeover of a space and turning it into magic!

Gloves + kisses!
